What I've built.
Graduate Course Assistant
New York University | New York
Open-Source and Professional Software Development
- -Led architecture reviews for 35+ pull requests across 10 teams, enforcing clean public API design, dependency injection and the adapter pattern during library-to-service migration.
- -Designed 3 sprint-based modules centered on TDD, CI/CD (CircleCI), and static analysis (mypy, ruff), teaching principled testing practices.
Graduate Course Assistant
New York University | New York
Operating Systems
- -Containerized the xv6 (x86) OS environment and published it to Docker Hub, standardizing reproducible development infrastructure for 50+ users.
- -Developed a new capstone project: user-level threading library for xv6 in C and x86 assembly; defined modules for context switching, cooperative scheduling and synchronization primitives.
Software Research Engineer
NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology | India
- -Engineered a real-time vehicle perception pipeline on NVIDIA Jetson, integrating ZED SDK stereo vision with YOLOv8 for 3D object detection, achieving ~30 FPS on 640x640 input.
- -Optimized inference latency ~2x by converting YOLOv8 to TensorRT FP16, reducing model size by ~50% while maintaining detection accuracy.
Software Engineer Intern
HealthMe | UK Remote
- -Built a full-stack clinical documentation web app (React, Node.js) that records doctor-patient conversations and generates structured clinical notes.
- -Designed a scalable, feature-based React frontend, separating UI, business logic, and data access using reusable components and custom hooks.
Research Intern
Centre for Networked Intelligence, IISc | India
- -Formulated a novel Mirrored Multi-Cycle De Bruijn sequence; proved a symmetry invariant reducing solution search space by 50%.
- -Identified a new OEIS integer sequence through mathematical research.
Things I've built.
From AI to infrastructure.
AI Video Editor Tool
Built a video editor with self-improving AI agents for thumbnail generation, text overlays, and voiceover, where each agent learns user preferences through an exploration/exploitation feedback loop.
Cache-Aware Matrix Multiply Benchmark
Built a runnable benchmark comparing naive, tiled, and NEON SIMD matrix multiplication implementations, profiling cache behavior and performance on ARM Neoverse N1 (Graviton2) and Apple M4 Pro.
High-Availability Kubernetes Deployment
Architected a fault-tolerant microservice deployment on AWS EKS with zero-downtime rolling updates, horizontal pod autoscaling and a Prometheus observability pipeline triggering automated Slack alerts.
AWS Dining Concierge Chatbot
Designed a serverless, event-driven restaurant recommendation system indexing 5,000+ restaurants, using decoupled microservices via SQS with Elasticsearch for sub-second cuisine-based query resolution.
PrepPal (AI Cooking Assistant)
Built an AI-powered mobile app that validates ingredients via photo-based object detection and verifies cooking steps through video analysis. Designed user evaluation protocol for 16 participants.
Ninja Build System Library
Implemented a C++ library wrapping Ninja's internal graph structures for programmatic build-rule construction and dependency management, with Python bindings via Nanobind and comprehensive unit tests.
Blockchain Token Platform
Developed and deployed an FA2 token smart contract on the Tezos blockchain using SmartPy/Michelson, implementing token minting, peer-to-peer transfers, and role-based access control.
